Position Overview:
The Installation Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of overhead door and loading dock equipment installation projects within new construction environments. This position manages projects from initial field measurements through shop drawing review, project coordination, installation, and closeout, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.
The Installation Manager serves as the primary point of coordination between General Contractors, project stakeholders, installation crews, vendors, and internal teams. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, schedule, and safety objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
● Manage installation projects from pre-construction through project closeout.
● Perform accurate field measurements and site assessments to support project planning and execution.
● Review, coordinate, and approve shop drawings, submittals, and project documentation.
● Coordinate project activities with General Contractors, project managers, and site personnel.
● Schedule labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
● Oversee installation crews and monitor project progress to maintain quality standards and productivity.
● Conduct regular jobsite visits to inspect work, address field issues, and provide project support.
● Identify and resolve installation challenges, scheduling conflicts, and project-related concerns.
● Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, jobsite requirements, and applicable regulations.
● Monitor installation quality and ensure projects meet customer specifications and contract requirements.
● Manage project punch lists and oversee project closeout activities.
● Maintain effective communication with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
● Prepare and maintain project records, reports, and documentation as required.
● Other duties as assigned.

● Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to effectively supervise installation crews and subcontractors.
● Excellent organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
● Strong communication and relationship-building skills for working with customers, General Contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
● Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and construction documents.
● Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in the field.
● Knowledge of overhead door systems, loading dock equipment, and installation best practices.
● Commitment to safety, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
● Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with project stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
● Minimum of 5 years of experience installing overhead doors and loading dock equipment.
● Experience working in new construction environments.
● Strong experience coordinating with General Contractors and construction teams.
● Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
● Field measuring and layout experience.
● Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
● Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Previous Installation Management experience.
● Experience working with major overhead door and loading dock equipment manufacturers.
● OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
● Familiarity with Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software. Work Environment:
● Combination of office and field-based work.
● Frequent travel to construction sites and project locations.
● Fast-paced construction environment requiring flexibility and effective time management.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
