Position Overview:
Allmark Door is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Estimator to join our Service team. In this role, you will prepare accurate cost estimates for materials and labor related to the repair and replacement of various commercial doors and docking equipment. You will create clear, comprehensive proposals, source vendor quotes, and collaborate closely with the service team to ensure estimates align with project requirements. Additionally, you will drive follow-up to close opportunities and provide support throughout the proposal process. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities are key to success in this role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
● Manage multiple service and planned maintenance estimating projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
● Create precise material and labor cost estimates for repairs and replacements for a wide
range of commercial door and docking equipment products, ensuring competitive pricing
and alignment with customer needs.
● Design comprehensive, clear, and value-driven proposals for service repairs and
agreements
● Actively communicate with the service team and vendors to ensure service and repair
estimates and proposals align to support efficient service and execution.
● Request and evaluate vendor quotes for a variety of parts and hardware components for
overhead doors, docking equipment and pedestrian doors.
● Obtain the best quote from vendors and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to
ensure the best pricing, availability, and delivery timeframes.
● Proactively follow up on estimates, driving the closure of opportunities and achieving
business goals.
● Address customer concerns in a timely and professional manner, cultivating positive
relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the process.
● Provide ongoing support to the service and sales team during the proposal process, offering technical expertise and guidance as needed.
● Continuously seek opportunities to improve our estimating processes, driving efficiency
and effectiveness.

● Excellent math, statistical, and data analysis skills for accurate estimation and cost
optimization.
Minimum Requirements:
● High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
● Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
● 2-5 years of hands-on estimating experience
Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
