We are seeking a highly skilled Installer to join our Install team in Beamsville, ON. The Installer is responsible for the on-site installation, assembly, and commissioning of irrigation, automation, and environmental control systems in greenhouse and horticultural facilities across Canada. This role involves working with plumbing and mechanical components, ensuring systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and assemble automation, irrigation, fertigation, and control equipment at client sites.
  • Perform mechanical connections, piping, and wiring as required.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and installation manuals.
  • Troubleshoot issues during and after installation.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including job reports and service documentation.
  • Communicate with project managers, supervisors, and clients regarding progress and site conditions.
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide occasional training to clients on system operation.
  • Overtime and variable hours based on project schedules.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities required)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Fall Protection, WHMIS, First Aid/CPR (required, or ability to obtain).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and safety conscious.
  • Post-secondary training in mechanical or agricultural technology (preferred).
  • Forklift, Scissor Lift, or Aerial Lift certification (preferred).
  • Plumbing trade certifications/apprenticeship (asset).
