About the Job:

We are looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) for a Center Team Lead opportunity. This role supports both the clinical and administrative areas, assisting providers with patient care and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. As the Team Lead, you will be accountable for supporting the day-to-day operations and ensuring the facility exceeds AAAHC standards and follows all established policies.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

1. Team Leadership & Operations Support

  • Oversight: Oversee the overall day-to-day operations and clinical staff support within the health center.

  • Compliance: Ensure organization policies and standards are upheld, including all regulatory, procedural, and licensing requirements, and strict adherence to patient privacy regulations (confidentiality protocols).

  • Scheduling & Metrics: Meet key performance indicators (KPIs), daily operations, and workflows. Work directly with Area Operations leadership to create and facilitate staff schedules and monitor timecards.

  • Expert & Training: Function as the subject matter expert (SME) and is accountable for staff training and demonstration of competencies.

  • Inventory & Support: Responsible for supply and pharmacy inventory management and replacement ordering. Provide support to leadership to resolve issues and ensure a positive patient/employee experience.

2. Clinical & Patient Care

  • Hands-On Care: Provide a significant amount of time dedicated to patient facilitation and care, assisting physician(s) or clinician(s).

  • Patient Education: Provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services.

  • Collaboration: Works collaboratively with the Physician(s), Clinician(s), and/or Total Health Solutions team.

What You’ll Bring to the Team (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Education & Certification (Required):

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    • Registered/Certificated MA or 3+ years of MA experience required.

    • Current clinical license as required by state/national authority in good standing.

    • Current BLS or CPR Card required.

  • Experience & Skills:

    • Proficient experience with both Practice Management and Electronic Medical Records.

    • Demonstrated current experience with Electrocardiogram (EKG), vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Current health records with appropriate immunizations (Hepatitis B and PPD).

    • Ability to work at multiple locations upon business need.

    • Physical ability to lift, pull, push, and manipulate equipment and patients.
